NBSC-ITE Shines at PAFTE-ASTER X Conference, Bags Top Awards
๐๐ข๐ฑ๐ช๐ต๐ฐ๐ญ ๐๐ฏ๐ช๐ท๐ฆ๐ณ๐ด๐ช๐ต๐บ, ๐๐ข๐จ๐ข๐บ๐ข๐ฏ ๐ฅ๐ฆ ๐๐ณ๐ฐ ๐๐ช๐ต๐บ – The Institute for Teacher Education (ITE) of Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) made a significant mark at the Philippine Association for Teachers and Educators – Association of Student Teachers in Region 10 (PAFTE-ASTER X) Conference held last April 11, 2025, at Capitol University, Cagayan de Oro City. A strong delegation of 140 student interns and 14 faculty members joined over 2,000 delegates from 42 Teacher Education Institutions (TEIs) across Region 10 for the one-day conference centered on the theme: “The Impact of the Expanded Career Progression System and the Changing Educational Landscape on Pre-service Teachers.”
NBSC-ITE’s participation was not merely observational; the institute actively engaged in various activities, showcasing the talents, wits, and skills of its future educators. The college’s representatives excelled in several competitions, bringing pride to the institution.
NBSC-ITE students excelled in various competitions: Zea Maxine Hulagpos won first place in Lesson Plan Making, and Careen Valmoria participated in the Demo Teaching Contest. The institute’s talented female dancers representing the Bukidnon Cluster captivated the audience in the Talent Show. Furthermore, NBSC-ITE was recognized with the Most Composed Delegation Award.
The successful participation in PAFTE-ASTER X underscores NBSC-ITE’s commitment to producing well-rounded and competent future educators. The student interns’ achievements and recognition reflect the dedication and quality of education within the institute.
